Apple Magic Mouse 2, Space Grey
The Apple Magic Mouse 2 features multi-touch support and gestures, as well as a wireless Bluetooth connection. This stylish and buttonless mouse is also very easy to charge.
With the Apple Magic Mouse 2, you can say goodbye to traditional mice with clickable buttons. The seamless Multi-Touch surface supports one- and two-finger gestures, making web browsing, zooming, scrolling, and swiping easier. The mouse's laser sensor provides extreme precision on virtually any surface. Thanks to its symmetrical design, the mouse is suitable for both right- and left-handed users. The black, sleek, and ergonomic mouse makes its user stand out from the crowd.
The Multi-Touch surface covers the entire front of the mouse. You can click it like a normal mouse, but it also offers many other uses. Swiping left or right allows you to navigate between pages in Safari and browse photos in iPhoto. Vertical swiping allows you to scroll through an open document. A single-finger tap zooms into an image or PDF document, and a two-finger double-tap opens the Mission Control menu to view open applications. The mouse is also equipped with smart technology that prevents it from confusing scrolling and swiping. It also recognizes when your hand is just resting on the mouse. Scrolling up and down is only possible in El Capitan operating system versions.
Perhaps you need a different gesture for a frequently used function – a double-click instead of a single click, or scrolling instead of swiping. The Magic Mouse allows you to change functions and left and right clicks through system settings.
The mouse is equipped with a built-in lithium-ion battery. Connect the mouse to a Mac computer's USB port with the included Lightning cable to charge the battery. The battery charges fully in about two hours and provides power for up to a month.
The mouse connects to a Mac computer via a wireless Bluetooth connection, so you don't need separate adapters or cables. The connection range is up to nine meters.
